homily from
The message is clear: The Catholic Church is a Pro-Life
Church; all Christians should be Pro-Life. That we are humans and
we all sin from time to time (1John 1:8) does not imply we should declare
for sin; that is boldly taking a stand against God and His Law.
Learn from
“We know that the law
is spiritual; but I am carnal, sold under sin. I do
not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very
thing I hate. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of
death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our
Lord!” (Romans 7:14-15, 24-25).
Notice He did not take a stand against God and His
Commandments. Humility is the path to
forgiveness. Everyone sins; God forgives
sins. The problem is the attitude to
sin. To sin by way of HUMAN WEAKNESS,
to acknowledge the sin and to ask for God’s forgiveness is one thing; but to
sin through DELIBERATE CHOICE” and to dismiss it as not a sin, is a different
thing altogether. Hence,
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and
just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not
sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us” (1John 1:8).
There's nothing like "Catholic-for-Choice of Abortion
and Sterilization"; even the concept “Christian-for-Choice of Abortion and
Sterilization” is a terrible anomaly. Jesus asks, "Why do
you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you?” (Luke 6:46). Once again, the Lord is giving us the
opportunity to declare where we stand?
Where do you stand? With God/Christ and His Church or with the Secularist/Atheists?
HOW CAN A PRO-LIFE CHURCH and HER INSTITUTIONS OF
EVANGELIZATION OUTREACH (SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS AND CLINICS,

CHRISTIANS!
THE SECULARIST AGENDA DEFINED:
Ludwig Feuerbach, a German Philosopher and Secularist,
captured the true sentiment of all secularists and atheists AND the inspiration
of our secular politicians, when he happily declared:
“Christianity has in fact long vanished, not only from the
reason but also from the life of mankind, and it is nothing more than a fixed
idea” [Ludwig Feuerbach,
On Philosophy and Christianity (1839)]
“My only wish is… to transform friends of God into friends
of man, believers into thinkers, devotees of prayer into devotees of work,
candidates for the hereafter into students of the world….” [Ludwig Feuerbach
(Lectures on the Essence of Religion)]; in

CONCLUSION:
Please, beware of “Secularized Christianity!”
“See
to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit, according
to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not
according to Christ” (Colossians 2:8).
GOD, CHRIST AND
CHURCH’S AGENDA DEFINED:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he
created him; male and female he created them.
And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and
multiply, and fill the earth” (Genesis
I call heaven and earth
to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death,
blessing and curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may
live, loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice, and cleaving to him;
for that means life to you and length of days
(Deut 30:19-20).
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I [Jesus]
came that they may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10;10).
PLEASE, REMEMBER THE WORDS OF THE HYMN:
“Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
Ye soldiers of the cross;
Lift high His royal banner,
It must not suffer loss …
Till ev'ry
foe is vanquished,
And Christ is Lord indeed.”
(Lyrics: George Duffield, Jr. Music:
George James Webb)
