The Doctrine of the Trinity is a truth so complex that even the most brilliant theologians can never hope to understand the reality and mystery. The Doctrine of the Trinity is a truth so complex that our personal understanding is not the issue but with God's grace we can believe and experience the Trinity in our lives. God revealed to us the Mystery of the Holy Trinity through the coming of His Son, Jesus.
Jesus speaks of the promised coming of God as Holy Spirit in St. John's Gospel (Chapters 13-17). "I will send him to you," he tells the Apostles. "Being the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth... he will have received from me what he will announce to you."
