Silent Prayer

Silent prayer is the avenue for a spiritual vacation from our long hours at work and our spiraling obligations. We need just to lift mind and heart to God with a quick silent prayer. Jesus frequently invited the Disciples to "come aside for awhile and rest."

Small prayers which many of us learned throughout our Catholic school years can flow quickly from our hearts grounding us again in faith renewing our baptismal commitment. For a resource of prayers visit PRAYERS. A quick prayer in our hearts brings rest and refreshment in a world that is too often fast and furious.

God created our spirit, a precious life, out of love. God loves you and listens to the thoughts of your spirit. Refresh your busy life and come aside for awhile and rest.
